The world of Web3 needs more life force, heart and purposeful innovation.
The past years’ rapid development of blockchain powered initiatives is giving rise to the vision of a new paradigm loosely defined as “Web3”. With the blockchain comes an exciting potential for upgrading societies through wealth distribution, decentralization of power and fair rewards for creativity. But as with all technology, the potential is dependent on the people building it.
Right now, the Web3 world is quite chaotic. It is run by young men who are often very intelligent but rather inexperienced and immature when it comes to leadership. We believe that without more women involved, Web3 will suffer the same dysfunctions as we are experiencing in Web2 and Web1. Without women, the masculine shadow will permeate also the new digital paradigm, producing destructive concentration of wealth and power, harsh competitive climates characterized by chase of financial gain as well as detachment from serving the prosperity of humanity and the planet.
Many agree that more women are needed in the tech scene. But our, perhaps provocative, claim is that what is needed is women in their full feminine power. We believe that if the women who get involved in building Web3 have not awakened to their feminine power and/or also are practicing a masculine leadership, not much will change.
Intrigued? We are four women that for the past ten years have worked at the new frontier of business and tech, passionately exploring all aspects of Web3 and decentralized leadership. In addition, we are also all on the journey of reclaiming our turned-on, wild and powerful feminine, and we have experienced first hand the potential of leading from that place in ourselves.
We are now dedicated to awakening and bringing in the feminine in Web3. For this cause, we are designing a learning journey in which we will bring together the best experts and tools from both the worlds of Web3 and Feminine Leadership. We want to invite the brightest female minds, alive bodies and warmest hearts to prototype what Web3 initiatives in true service of the feminine could be like. We long to explore what will happen if we artfully unleash both feminine and masculine leadership in the people building the initiatives of the new digital era.
The rules of the game that we collectively design within Web3 will make up the foundational architecture of the blockchain powered internet. What we build in the coming years will impact what kind of world technology will afford us to create for generations to come. The time for us is now.
